Sephora’s 2020 Spring Savings Event Wishlist Pt. 1

Wow beauties!

It has been a really long time, since I have made a post on both my website and Instagram. I will talk about more of what I have been up to in a later post. I am now a parent of two!!! I had my beautiful son at the end of October!

I hope everyone is coping well during this pandemic and taking care of yourselves! While, I miss everyday life. There has been some good outcomes to the quarantine. One of them being I have been more active, eating healthier, finishing special projects that I have been putting off, and getting back into blogging and feeling much more happy, confident, and a little more like myself!

Anyways, I just wanted to put some of that out there, instead of going straight into a post. If you have been to my site before you know that I have a problem with make-up! Sephora is having their spring sale between April 17 and April 27 with the code SPRINGSAVE at checkout. There are different dates and discounts for each different tier:

Rouge: 20% off (4/17-4/27)

VIB: 15% off (4/21-4/27)

Insider: 10% off (4/23-4/27)

While not the most convenient time. I do have a few things on my wishlist.

1. Kevin Aucoin- The Sculpting Contour Powder- $44.

I have been eying this product for months! It is not new, but the tone of the light shade looks to be cool and slightly grey, which really looks natural to create shades on a pale skin tone! The product has a 4.6 out of 5 stars on the Sephora website, it is matte, and comes in three shades.

2. Peter Thomas Roth- PRO Strength Lactic Pore Treatment-$88.

This is also another item that has been on my wishlist for a while. I am terrible at skincare and just when I started to get better at it I became pregnant. I am also currently breastfeeding. So, I still have to be very conscious about what I put in/on my body (No retinoids!). I will have to read more about lactic acid and breastfeeding…I have not been aging well the last 15 months- haha- and my pores are insane! This promises to improve them with a 30% lactic acid complex. The product has 4.7/5 stars and 414 reviews on Sephora.

3. Fresh-Rose Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask-$50.

I saw this a few months ago and it seems pretty interesting! I am always looking for something to hydrate my skin. I think that my skin gets really dried out in the winter and I have problem areas during the summer (my skin is much more combination in the summer vs winter). Dryness creates creepiness and just ages my skin so much. I am always looking for products to lock in moisture and help me look dewy and radiant. This is a 2-step night mask for all skin types. It has a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on the Sephora website with 1,116 reviews!

4. Make Up For Ever-Matte Velvet Skin Blurring Powder Foundation-$38.

For the life of me, I cannot remember who recommended this product, but I believe that it was recommended by two seemingly credible Youtubers. I am quite skeptical because powder foundations always look powdery and dry on my skin, but who ever did this review was very convincing and this has been in my cart for the last month. The shade that I would try is Ivory Beige which is for light skin with neutral undertones. This product come is 30 shades and it claims to be a full coverage, blurring, matte powder for all skin types. It has a 4.2 out of 5 star rating on Sephora and 963 reviews. I am looking at trying this one to venture into powder foundations since it has been a while!

5. Charlotte Tillbury- Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade Pillow Talk- $34.

I have been interested in purchasing quite a few CT products (you will see in my part 2). I have been looking at a lot of the products and have been bombarded with her ads (thanks, NSA!). I am just in love with the ads for her pillow talk lipstick. The shade is described as a nude pink and the lipstick line has a 4.3 out of 5 star Sephora rating with 367 reviews. It claims to have 3D glow pigments that make the lips look wider and fuller, and that it is matte, but hydrating. The only concern that I have is that I saw many posts under the ads stating that the color does not appear the same in ads as in person. I am hoping that this is not true as I am in love with the shade!

Thank you for stopping by and I will see you soon! If you have tried any of these products, let me know your thoughts!
