Right before the sale ended, I did a quick scroll through the Sephora’s sale section. There were some really good products and things that I wanted to try. I am actually really proud of myself and only spent $103 on 4 products. I tried to order the other shade in Farsali’s Jelly Beam highlighter, but before my order was processed it was already sold out (Damn!).
I ended up getting the Bobbi Brown Infra-Red eyeshadow palette for $23.20. I have never tried any Bobbi Brown products so I was interested in trying something on a sale price. It has decent reviews, but many people were upset because the pictures were deceptive that were originally put out. I guess it is more of a brown neutral palette than a red palette. So, people were disappointed about that. Other than that people said the palette and formulation was great, but that one of the shades is so softly pressed it ends up breaking during shipping.
I have had 2 products that were on sale in my Beautylish wish list for a while. They were the Natasha Denona Duo Glow powders in the shades Alba and Rayo. I got both of these for $24.40. These are originally $38, so I thought it was better to buy them straight out, than to do Afterpay with them. I really enjoyed her highlighters, so if they are the same formula I will probably enjoy these. I thought they were blushes and that is how I will use them as blushes or blush toppers because I am pretty sure they are too dark to be a highlighter. The shade Alba is described as a golden highlight with a coral undertone and the shade Rayo is described as an icy highlight with a pink undertone. I am hoping these work out! On the Sephora website there are 40 reviews and a 4.9 star rating. The reviews say that it is very pigmented and that a light hand is best! Below are pictures of the two products from the Beautylish website:
Lastly, I bought the Jouer Cosmetics Making Magic Ultra Foil eyeshadow Palette set for $24. This is a limited edition palette and can still be purchased on the Beautylish website (sold out on Sephora). The set comes with the Making Magic palette that has 12 ultra-foil eyeshadows and an eye topper in the shade constellation. I saw the palette swatched online somewhere and I really wanted it, but seeing as I have never used Jouer eye products, I was hesitant to spend $52 on it! But since it was on sale for over 50% off, I snatched it up. Below are the swatches of the palette from the Beautylish website.
Thank you for stopping by! I am really looking forward to trying all of these products when I get home! I will keep you guys updated with reviews and first impressions on these items!
