I saw a few mentions of the E.L.F.’s Modern Metals Collection from some influencers, but I feel like this was not talked about much. It comes in a four-piece kit for $32 on ulta. The price is fair if I were to break it down it could be $10 per palette and $6 for each lip product. (you can buy products or complete kit on elf website. The palettes are $12.)
- Eyeshadow palette (10x shades)
- Blush & Highlighter Palette (3x blush/3x highlighters)
- Lipstick (terracotta nude)
- Lip Gloss (golden shimmer)
The eyeshadow palette gives me fall vibes and subculture vibes! There are 5 mattes and 5 metallic shades. The purple was hard to blend and I am assuming that the blue might be similar even though it swatched pretty well. The metallics are beautiful and my favorite shade is the mustard shade! It is beautiful! Overall the palette is blendable and beautiful! It is well worth the money and a perfect palette for fall!
The blush and highlighter palette is gorgeous! The highlighters are subtle, but can be amped up with a setting spray or wet brush they are creamy. I used one of the shades as an eyeshadow the other day and it was beautiful and lasted all day! The subtleness of the highlighter is nice when you can’t wear flashy makeup at work. The blushes are very pigmented so use a light hand and they are blendable. I really enjoyed the peachy shade in the palette.
The gloss and lipstick are both beautiful. The gloss is nice as a topper and on its own it has gold reflects in it and it is not sticky! The shade and formula of the liquid lipstick is amazing! It is long-lasting. The color gives me full-on fall vibes, to me it is more orangish than terracotta, as it is described, but this orange was very flattering on my skin tone.
Overall, this kit is worth it! I love the palettes, shade range, vibes, and lip products!
