The gingerbread spice palette

Hey Beauties!

I have been meaning to make a swatch/mini review on this palette.  I would say this palette is mediocre.  I had to have it as I collect a lot of these palettes.  It is scented, but I would not necessarily say that it is a gingerbread scent.  It is sweet smelling though.  The matte shades aren’t buttery, but they are blendable and buildable (takes a little extra work), the metallic are nice (also not buttery), and the more glittery shades are kind of chunky. The metallic are best applied with a finger for best color pay off. There are 18 shades and a good mix of dark and light colors.  I really like the color scheme of the palette, but the shades are not unique if you have a large number of palettes, I don’t think the palette is worth it. This palette gives me similar vibes to the chocolate gold palette from last year.  However, if you do not have a warm toned palette this offers a good color selection for fall and holiday looks with a few pops of colors (gumdrop, spice is nice, figgy pudding, hot toddy).  The shadow really make my green eyes “pop”. I have been able to get work, day glam, and night looks out of it so it is very versatile.  The packaging is sturdy and it is $49.00.  It is a limited edition palette and is no longer available on Ulta or Sephora, but it is available on the Toofaced website.  So, overall the quality of the palette is good, the colors are beautiful, and the palette is versatile.  I am not a fan of the price point, I think there are better palettes available that are cheaper, and the color scheme is not unique.
