Sorry for my abscence! I have been crazy busy with work and school, but this is my final week of my first two master’s courses and then I am dropping down to one course at a time. Anyway, these are just my opinions on some fashion, style, random items and make up that I have either been hating, loving, or that I am on the fence about.
I am a huge fan of MAC fix plus! It is in my top 3 setting sprays; however I made the mistake of replenishing the original with the Prep + Prime Fix+ Shimmer in Goldlite.
I am not sure what I was expecting, but I am just striving for beautiful, flawless, glowy skin! The spray does not seem to hold my makeup like the original and it leaves gold splotches all over my skin. The last thing that I hate is the shimmer is not blurring in anyway it highlights texture and pores. I brought this as my sole setting spray on my trip out here and was stuck using it for about a month before the new setting sprays I ordered came in. I am currently trying Prime and Fine Dewy Glow Finish Spray – Illuminating from Catrice and Seal the Deal Hydrating Setting Spray from Flower Beauty. I won’t spoil it and keep you updated in an upcoming post.
Oh.my.gawd…I have never been a hair person! Besides, dying my own hair, I do not do too much to my hair. I literally have been stepping out of the shower and tucking it behind my ears for my entire life! I ended up getting a great cut recently and the lady styled it so cute with a round brush and blow dryer. This is not going to work for me! My left hand is useless, but I thought about it and started searching for blow dryers. I came across the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer (59.99), it is sold on Ulta and Amazon. This thing is amazing! I styled my hair just like the girl in the salon did with one hand and about 6 minutes! I am so excited! The blow out lasted, it was effortless, and my hair looked amazing! When it first arrived I did not think that this was going to work on my fine, short hair because it is so large! But it worked-it is a little expensive, but it is definitely a great investment and a 3-in-1 product (blow dryer, brush, and straightener). Is anyone else loving this?
On the Fence
The diamond bomb highlight in How Many Carats. I definitely knew what I was buying when I bought the product-I watched a few reviews! It is a very glittery highlight. I think that it is beautiful, but emphasized my texture. Additionally, it is better applied with your fingers than a brush. AND if you do not have a large highlighter collection this is NOT an everyday highlight. It would be great for “clubbing”, festival, or creative looks. It feels really cool and the packaging is beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by!
