Spotlight: Stila

Hey Everyone!

Its been a couple of weeks (per usual)! I just got a box in the mail from Sephora today and I am so excited because my Stila Glitter and glow collection is growing! I am so in love with these back in my Summer favorites post I had five of them. These are so perfect for glam nights out and in my case in my small town fancy trips to Walmart (haha). I ordered the eye for elegance liquid eye shadow set ($42) and it debuts a new product in mini form that I read will be coming out in their Spring 2018 collection. They are Shimmer and glow liquid eyeshadows in the shades kitten, grace, and twig. One the packaging it say that they are, “NEW high shimmer, non-glitter shadows launching in the spring!”

These are beautiful Kitten and grace are definitely in the same shade family; however grace is much darker. The set also comes with three Glitter and Glow liquid eye shadows in Peachy sheen, smoldering satin, and next to Notte. These are mini’s and are exactly half of the regular sized ones at .07f fl oz/2.25ml. I think this kit is UH-MAZING and the color selection is warm and great for fall. I think that this is a great addition to any make up collection especially because there are so many holidays and parties coming up in the next couple of months.

I also picked up a couple of the full sized ones when I was in Florida and ordered one in this Sephora order. The colors I ordered in a firenze, bronzed bell, gold goddess, and smoky storm (full sized $24/.153fl oz/4.5ml). I have 3 more full-sized colors on the way that I have been really excited for (they have been sold out for a long time! I will post an update with those swatches once they arrive!

Swatches top to bottom: Kitten, Grace, Twig, Peachy Sheen, Smoldering Satin, Next to Notte, In a Firenze, Bronzed Bell, Gold Goddess, and Smoky Storm.
I am obsessed with these the new formula is really beautiful and pigmented and I am loving the set I cannot wait to wear some of these new colors! Lastly, I think that the set is totally worth the money.  There are six shades that are half the size of a full sized shade.  2 full size shades would be $48 dollars, so it is bang for your buck and you get to try the new formula and new colors.
Thanks for stopping by!
